THE GAA’S CENTRAL Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) announced today that the Interprovincial hurling and football semi-finals will not take place in 2015.
The games, originally scheduled to take place last weekend, were postponed due to safety concerns arising from Storm Desmond.
There were some who felt the games could be refixed for this Saturday and Sunday but those hopes were dashed today.
A decision regarding a new date for both the hurling, due to take place in Galway and football, set for Newry and Armagh, will not now take place until after the CCCC meet on 12 January 2016.
